His debut, Salsalsa, led to a rare signing with Fania Records, and his follow-up, Retro, earned him the Grammy for Best Tropical Album. Rosado has since released acclaimed projects including SALSANIMAL, Harlow–Marlow with mentor Larry Harlow, FEMINOMANIA, Colores de la Salsa with Frankie Negron, and Orun, a Latin jazz collaboration with legend Chucho Valdés.
