The 2019 Coach Gun opens up nicely with notes of fresh blue berries, espresso, star anise, and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied richness and silky tannins are layered with notes of dark chocolate, fresh herbs, juicy red cherry that makes this an excellent wine to enjoy now, though it can easily age in the cellar for a decade or more.

APPELLATION & VINEYARDS
The historic Priest Ranch is now part of the Somerston Estate, a significant property totaling 1,682 acres, with 244 acres planted to hillside vineyards. Dramatic elevations of the vineyards define and distinguish the estate, ranging from 800 ft to 1650 ft above sea level. In 2018, the grapes for this wine were chosen from four separate hillside blocks.
