Dazzle your friends and family with this simple yet fancy snack of sour cream, caviar, and potato chips. With the addition of lemon zest, chives, and white pepper, the sour cream has a bit of a zip to it. Our 2017 Brut Rosé really highlights the subtle delicacy of this dish while complementing the saltiness of the fish roe and potato chips.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tbsps chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
  • 2 ozs salmon roe or other caviar
  • potato chips, for serving

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, chives, lemon zest, white pepper, and a pinch of salt.

Let sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes so the flavors can meld (or chill for up to 24 hours before serving).

Spoon salmon roe or caviar on top and serve with potato chips and Priest Ranch Brut Rosé.
