If you have a bottle of Priest Ranch Double Barrel in your cellar, this is s food pairing you will want to add to your list. The term "Surprise and Delight" comes to mind when we think of serving Korean Spiced Bacon with this 50/50 blend.
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Korean chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy
  • 1/4 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Water
  • 1/2 lb Thick sliced bacon
Directions

Preheat oven to 350.  Place thick-cut bacon on a rack on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.  

Remove bacon out of the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.  Once cool, brush or spoon flavor on both sides.  Return bacon to the oven and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes or until bacon is crispy.  

Let bacon cool for 3-5 min and enjoy with a glass of Double Barrel!
