Meet the Team - Alejandro "Alex" Gomez!
A new year is always exciting—a fresh start, an opportunity to try new things, or a chance to become reacquainted
with yourself, your friends, or your favorite Priest Ranch team members! To start our Meet the Team series, we’rekicking it off with one of our longest-tenured hospitality and sales team members, our Direct to Consumer Sales Manager, Alejandro “Alex” Gomez! He’s the leader of our hospitality and sales team and has grown immensely through his time with Priest Ranch, from hosting in the tasting room to running logistics and fulfillment—Alex is a tremendous asset to our team. Let’s learn a little bit more about him!

What is your favorite Priest Ranch memory?
When we had our 2021 Harvest Party at the Estate, it was nice to come together as a company and celebrate a successful year after 2020, an incredibly challenging year between the pandemic and fires at the property. Our collective team deserved a pat on the back after all we had been through individually; as a hospitality team and a great Estate, it truly bonded us.
What is your favorite Priest Ranch experience to host?
Bacon & Wine Experience because of bacon
and wine. Also, with the addition of our Executive Chef, we’ve been able to level it up and give our guests and clients an even better experience.
What is your favorite non-Priest Ranch experience?
What is your favorite activity to do during your time off?
Vineyard walks with my wife, Itzel, and our Aussie Collie, Nala.
What do you like most about Priest Ranch?
Being part of the awesome team we have built over the years and how much everyone truly enjoys each other's company. I watched the team evolve over the years I’ve spent learning and growing here. And as an added bonus, I am able to bring Nala to weekend and evening events. Since our tasting room is pet-friendly, we’re participating in Napa Humane’s Pawsport Month; I appreciate that we support our community, especially our furry friends. And it is a great way for Itzel and me to discover other wineries to which we could bring Nala. Oh, and I am notorious for getting lunch from The Kitchen
almost daily… I can’t help that Chef’s menu is so good.
